Leslie Boulin Raulet, Marine Gandon, and Michael Tafforeau, three French musicians met each other at the Royal College of Music and formed the Elixir Trio in 2006. They have received coaching from the Chilingirian Quartet and had master classes with Bernard Greenhouse (Beaux Arts Trio), Gordan Nikolitch, Peter Cropper, Philip Dukes, Philippe Bary (Trio Millières), and Lewis Kaplan. They won the Prix des Clubs Service 2008 in the Academie Internationale Maurice Ravel in France. In 2007, they played live for France Musique Radio and now regularly perform in festivals in France (Château de la Petite Malmaison, in Mulhouse, Ingersheim and Colmar), England (National Gallery, the Victoria & Albert Museum the Lincoln’s Inn Chapel, St George Hanover Square or the Landmark Arts Centre), and Holland.
For the season 2008/09, they are supported by the Concordia Foundation and by the Association des Jeunes Artistes Musiciens and they will perform in London (St James’s Piccadilly), Leeds ( International Chamber Music Series), Eastbourne, in Germany and in France...
